2019 State of the Industry Summit

before execution comes strategy

The slides below were created for a marketing strategy planning meeting for the NACS’ 2019 State of the Industry Summit, a 2 day benchmarking conference that has been held for over 15 years. The goal of this meeting was to refine and define key marketing strategy components such as the positioning statement, attendance goals, target groups, marketing timeline, messaging and key deliverables. Another main goal was to get input and buy in from the NACS Research team on new content for 2019 and reach a consensus on key deliverables. Lastly, I wanted to highlight growth opportunities within the NACS membership base (slide 13).

I performed the research and data analysis for the presentation which included a breakdown of attendee demographics by company size, job function, whether or not they submitted data, first-time attendees or repeat attendees. I also took a deeper dive into repeat attendees for 3+ consecutive years, referred to as “loyalists”, in order to better understand this prime audience group.
